Who is eligible for Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana?
Parents or legal guardians of a girl child below 10 years can open an SSY account. Only one account per girl, and a maximum of two accounts per family (three if twins).
When can I withdraw from SSY?
Partial withdrawal up to 50% is allowed after the girl turns 18 for higher education or marriage. Full maturity happens at age 21.
